The 40-hour training meets the BACB® training requirement. It does not tell you who is ready to pass. In 2025, about 1 in 4 first-time RBT® candidates did not pass (BACB pass rates), and each retake means another $45 Pearson VUE fee and at least 7 days of waiting.
We give each trainee full access to our RBT exam prep app: 8 timed, 85-question mock exams and 2,250 practice questions organized by the six domains of the 3rd-edition Test Content Outline. You receive a readiness report by domain before you approve the exam booking.

RBT Practice Exam is published by ARENA (EURL), a company based in Lille, France, and run by its founder, Eliott Raoult. We build exam preparation for certification and civil-service exams, and we answer clinic requests ourselves at clinics@rbtpracticeexam.io.
Our content is written from the BACB’s own documents: the RBT Test Content Outline (3rd ed.), the RBT Ethics Code (2.0) and the RBT Handbook. We are not affiliated with the BACB®, we are not a 40-hour training provider, and we do not issue PDUs.

Between the 40-hour training and the exam booking
Keep your current 40-hour training (an outside provider or your own). We cover the weeks between the end of that training and the day you approve the exam booking.
Send us your trainees
Email us their names and work emails when they finish the 40-hour training. Each trainee gets full access to the app within one business day.
Trainees practice by domain
Short practice series in each domain (Data Collection and Graphing, Behavior Assessment, Behavior Acquisition, Behavior Reduction, Documentation and Reporting, Ethics), then timed 85-question mock exams in the exam format.
You decide when to book
We send the supervisor a readiness report after each mock exam: score by domain, weakest tasks, suggested next practice. You decide when the trainee books the exam.

Billing

- No automatic renewal: each year starts with a new invoice you approve.
Trainee data
- We only need each trainee’s name and work email. Their practice results are shared with your clinic in the readiness report, and trainees are told so.
- We never ask for client or patient information (PHI). Please do not send any.
- We delete a trainee’s data on request. A data processing agreement is available on request.

We reply from clinics@rbtpracticeexam.io within one business day (Monday to Friday). For a pilot, we then ask for your two trainees’ names and work emails.
Frequently asked questions
- Does this replace the 40-hour training?
- No. Trainees complete the 40-hour training with your usual provider. We cover exam preparation after it. We are not a 40-hour training provider and we do not issue PDUs.
- What happens if a trainee leaves before the exam?
- Email us. On the annual plan we move the access to your next hire. With per-trainee access, an access not yet used for a mock exam moves to your next hire.
- Is the content aligned with the 3rd-edition Test Content Outline?
- Yes. Practice series, lessons and mock exams are organized by the six domains of the RBT Test Content Outline (3rd ed.), which the exam has used since January 1, 2026.
- Is there a score that guarantees a pass?
- No. The BACB reports a pass or fail and does not publish a percentage passing score. Our report shows strengths and gaps by domain so the supervisor can decide when to book.
- What do trainees use?
- The same app as individual candidates, at app.rbtpracticeexam.io, on a computer or a phone.
