ARENA is the data controller for the personal data described below. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with, and the rights you have.
What we collect
Information you give us. Your email address and password when you create an account, your name if you provide one, and the content of any message you send us. If you ask for your quiz results by email, the email address you enter and your quiz result (overall score and score by domain).
Information created by your use of the site. Quiz answers, scores and progress, pages viewed, time spent, and the referring page.
Information collected automatically. IP address, browser and device type, operating system, and approximate location derived from your IP address.
We do not receive or store your card number. Payment details go directly to our payment processor.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To provide the service — account creation, access to purchased content, saving your quiz progress. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To send you your quiz results: when you enter your email under a quiz result, we create a free account for you in our practice app (app.rbtpracticeexam.io), save your result in it, and email you a login link. We then send you a few emails to help you prepare, each with an unsubscribe link. Legal basis: performance of a contract for the account and the login link, at your request; legitimate interest for the follow-up emails, which you can stop at any time.
- To take payment — processing your order and issuing receipts. Legal basis: performance of a contract.
- To measure and improve the site — understanding which pages and questions are used. Legal basis: legitimate interest, or consent where cookies require it.
- To answer you — responding to support requests. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers, each acting on our behalf or as an independent controller for their own purposes:
- Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your payment details directly and applies its own privacy policy.
- Google Analytics — audience measurement, operated by Google.
- Hostinger — hosting of the website and its database.
- Supabase: database and sign-in of our practice app.
- Vercel: hosting of our practice app.
- Resend: sending of our emails.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to establish or defend a legal claim.
Cookies
The site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your quiz progress, and measure traffic. You can refuse or delete cookies through your browser settings; if you do, parts of the site may stop working. Where consent is required, measurement cookies are set only after you have given it.
How long we keep it
Account and purchase records are kept for the duration of your access and for as long as accounting and tax law requires afterwards, which in France is ten years for invoices. Analytics data is kept for at most fourteen months. Support messages are kept for three years from our last exchange. Quiz results linked to an account are deleted when the account is deleted.
Where your data goes
Our providers are established in the European Union and the United States. Transfers outside the European Economic Area rely on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or on an adequacy decision, depending on the provider.
Your rights
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Where processing rests on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; in France this is the CNIL.
If you are a California resident, you may request to know what personal information we have collected, to have it deleted, to have it corrected, and to opt out of any sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly process the personal information of anyone under 16. You will not be treated differently for exercising these rights.
To exercise any of these rights, write to support@rbtpracticeexam.io. We answer within one month.
Children
This site is intended for adults preparing for a professional certification. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be announced on the site.
